Zentangle Trees

I see this style project all over the internet, and wanted to give it a try.  The students created their own grid and used a tracer for the circle.   They then created an outline of a tree with black sharpie marker

, and filled it in with zentangle designs, being sure to put a different line pattern in each grid section.  They then were asked to use oil pastels in warm colors for the inside of the circle, an cool colors for the outside.
